Green checking conversion
Welcome to Aspire Checking
Effective February 1, 2024 Dime will convert all existing Green Checking accounts into Aspire Checking accounts. A $12 monthly cycle service fee will be applied to all Aspire Checking accounts that do not qualify for a waiver by registering for eStatements or by maintaining an average available balance of $1,500.00 or more.

What you need to know
* To ease the transition of our merger in 2021, and provide time to register for eStatements, certain Dime accounts that were converted into Green Checking accounts have had their fees waived even if they had not registered for eStatements. These waivers will end as of February 1, 2024. We encourage all affected customers to enroll in eStatements and Electronic Banking to avoid monthly cycle service fees.

Will I incur any fees?
A monthly cycle service charge of $12.00 will be imposed every month if the average available balance in the account falls below $1,500.00. The monthly cycle service charge will be waived regardless of balance if you elect to receive your periodic statement electronically. Dime encourages everyone to eliminate paper and receive statements electronically.
Can I enroll in eStatements to receive my statements electronically now or should I wait until after February 1?
You can register to receive statements electronically at any time – no need to wait. For information on electronic statements, click here.
Do I need to do anything because of the change?
No, there is no action needed on your part.
Does this affect any electronic payments that I have set up?
No, your account number and routing number have not changed. Any payments you have set up with vendors, utilities or other will not be affected nor need notification.
Does this affect any of my scheduled payments in online banking?
No, your current bill payment service is not affected. All scheduled and/or recurring payment will continue as you intended.
Does this affect my Debit Card?
No, this does not affect any debit cards.
Do I need to order new checks?
No, you do not need to order new checks.
